The Job…
Reporting to the payroll manager, you will be involved across the following:
- Processing client payrolls within approved timeframes.
- Address any client payroll queries.
- Calculate employee’s salary as per instruction by clients (i.e. sick pay, holiday pay, SMP etc.).
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients regarding any PAYE queries.
The Ideal Candidate…
To be considered for this position, you will ideally possess the following criteria:
- 3+ years experience working as a payroll professional in either an accountancy practice or a payroll bureau.
- Sage experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills are essential.
- Good working knowledge of current payroll legislation.
