Paralegal – Litigation – Hybrid Working

We are working with a well-established litigation team based in Newtownards who are seeking to recruit a Litigation Paralegal with specific experience in credit hire matters.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paralegal to join a busy and supportive litigation department, working on a varied and fast-paced caseload with a strong focus on credit hire and motor-related claims.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of litigated credit hire files from instruction through to settlement or trial. The role will involve drafting pleadings, liaising with insurers, reviewing liability and quantum evidence, preparing files for hearing, and supporting solicitors on more complex litigation matters where required.

You will also be expected to engage directly with clients, third parties, and experts, ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and in line with court deadlines.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience working as a paralegal within litigation
• Strong exposure to credit hire or motor claims (essential)
• Confidence in handling a litigated caseload with minimal supervision
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• The ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
• Strong communication and client care skills
