Artemis Human Capital is currently working with a well-established commercial law firm in Belfast that is seeking to recruit a Paralegal to join their busy Debt Recovery team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in debt recovery or credit control who is looking to join a professional, client-focused environment with high-quality work and strong long-term prospects.

Working as part of a specialist team, you will manage a busy caseload of debt recovery matters on behalf of a broad commercial client base – ranging from SMEs to larger corporates.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing pre-legal and legal recovery processes

• Drafting correspondence, letters before action, and court documents

• Liaising with clients, debtors, and third parties in a professional and timely manner

• Maintaining accurate case records and updating internal systems

• Supporting solicitors with enforcement proceedings when required

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a debt recovery, credit control, or litigation support role (law firm or commercial setting)

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• A confident and professional telephone manner

• The ability to manage a volume caseload efficiently and effectively
