Operations Director
A senior operational leadership opportunity within a growing organisation delivering complex, multi-disciplinary maintenance, refurbishment, and improvement programmes across publicly funded and regulated environments.
This is a key leadership role with full responsibility for operational delivery across a portfolio of live programmes, covering planned and reactive works, refurbishment activity, and wider asset improvement initiatives. The organisation is in a period of ongoing growth with a focus on strengthening operational capability, improving consistency of delivery, and supporting future expansion.
The role involves leading multi-team delivery within a structured, compliance-led environment, with accountability for performance, programme execution, and service standards across multiple concurrent workstreams. There is also increasing involvement in longer-term improvement and sustainability-led programmes.
Key elements of the role include:
- Leading operational delivery across multiple live programmes
- Driving performance across direct and subcontracted delivery models
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and contractual requirements
- Managing operational performance against KPIs, programmes, and service standards
- Supporting commercial oversight to ensure efficient and profitable delivery
- Leading mobilisation activity and scaling operational capacity
- Developing and leading high-performing operational teams
- Engaging with senior stakeholders across delivery and client interfaces
This opportunity would suit a senior operational leader with experience managing complex, multi-site or multi-project environments within structured and regulated settings.
