Newly Qualified Accountant – Hybrid Working

We’re working with an established professional services organisation that is looking to appoint an FS Accountant to join its growing team in Northern Ireland.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step away from practice and gain hands-on industry experience, while continuing to build on their technical accounting skills, take ownership of their work and gain greater commercial exposure.

The Role
- Oversee the accounting activities across a portfolio of clients.
- Finance business partnering
- Prepare and review financial statements, accounts and supporting reports.
- Ensure all financial information is accurate and prepared in line with the relevant accounting requirements.
- Check calculations and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage deliverables, prioritising workloads to ensure key deadlines are achieved.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact.
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to investigate and resolve queries efficiently.
- Provide guidance and support to junior members of the team.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency and minimise risk.
About You
- ACCA, ACA, CIMA or an equivalent accounting qualification.
- Practice or industry training background
- Experience preparing or reviewing financial statements and accounting information.
- Experience working with clients or stakeholders and a genuine interest in developing client relationships.
