Management Accountant

An established and growing business is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join its finance team based in Antrim. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function for multiple entities while supporting strategic decision-making through accurate reporting, financial control and commercial insight.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll play a key role in financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, forecasting and process improvement, while also working closely with operational teams to enhance financial performance and efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports across multiple entities.
• Deliver accurate forecasts and performance reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Maintain strong financial controls, reconciliations and banking processes.
• Ensure timely completion of all statutory and regulatory financial returns.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and commercial financial planning.
• Produce insightful KPI reporting to drive business performance.
• Identify and implement improvements to finance processes and controls.
• Partner with operational teams to strengthen credit management practices.
• Balance commercial objectives with effective financial risk management.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team to achieve high performance.

About You

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• Previous experience in a management accounting role is desirable
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate others.
