Management Accountant
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified Management Accountant to join a successful and growing organisation on an initial 12 month contract, with a strong possibility of becoming a permanent position.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts, annual financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and performance reports that support strategic decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial accounts
- Production and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, including detailed variance analysis
- Presentation financial reports and insights to the management team
- Reviewing and improving existing accounting processes and controls to drive efficiencies and best practice
- Building strong relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders
- Providing guidance and support to finance and administrative teams
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function
About You:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong systems skills and proficiency across financial software and Microsoft Office applications
