Management Accountant
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Management Accountant to join a busy and collaborative finance team in the heart of Belfast.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys combining management reporting, financial analysis, operational finance and stakeholder support within a fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations across the business.
The role also includes responsibility for billing activities and providing cross-team finance support during periods of peak workload or absence.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare management accounts, variance analysis and regular financial reporting
- Analyse financial performance and provide clear insights to stakeholders
- Support budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc financial analysis
- Manage billing processes and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare journals, reconciliations and accounting entries
- Support payroll, VAT, audit and compliance activities as required
- Assist with payments, reconciliations, credit control and wider finance operations
- Provide cross-team finance support during periods of absence or peak workload
- Contribute to process improvements and finance-related projects
- Ensure deadlines, controls and service standards are consistently maintained
About You
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Previous management accounting and reporting experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel and finance systems experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities independently
