As a result of internal promotion, they are seeking to appoint a Management Accountant to join a collaborative team. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the successful candidate will prepare monthly management accounts across multiple group entities, assist with year-end processes and oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities to support strategic decision-making.
The Role:
- Reconcile accounts, including Sage, CMS, bank, and creditors
- Process monthly drawdowns
- Prepare management accounts, journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L analysis
- Maintain intercompany matrices and submit accounts for review
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
- Assist with year-end accounts and audits
- Support budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc reporting
- Improve processes, controls, and accounting systems
The Person:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) QBE will also be considered
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise work to ensure deadlines are met
- Advanced Excel skills
