Lending Associate Director
Artemis Human Capital is working exclusively with an award winning commercial lender in Belfast. Having experienced significant growth over the last 2 years, they are eager to appoint a commercial and driven Associate Director of Lending to join the business.
Working within a local team, the Associate Director will play a pivotal role, structuring loan transactions from approval to drawdown stage, reviewing portfolios, managing the team and driving deals.
With a strong pipeline of work and a number of interesting transactions in play, this an exciting time to join the business.
The Role:
- Oversee legal and due diligence processes to ensure smooth and timely execution
- Conduct financial analysis and due diligence to align with credit policies
- Work closely with clients and teams to create tailored lending solutions while managing risk
- Monitor loans, ensure repayments, and address issues proactively
- Act as the key liaison between clients, legal professionals, and internal teams
- Team management and mentoring to include reviewing credit papers and accompanying team members to client meetings
- Assist with development of processes and procedures to improve efficiencies
- Produce clear and detailed credit papers
The Person:
- Previous lending experience within a banking / financial services environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships
- Exhibit strong leadership and drive
- Skilled in negotiating with the ability to close deals
