Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be working in partnership with a market leading law firm in its search for a Junior Banking and Finance Solicitor to join its busy team. Our client is a top tier legal firm with a strong banking and finance presence.
As a junior member of the legal team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of banking and finance matters, gaining exposure to complex transactions, regulatory issues, and client interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on banking and finance laws and regulations.
- Assist senior solicitors in drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Provide support in negotiations and due diligence processes for various financial transactions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in relevant laws to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the firm to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to the development of legal strategies.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in banking and finance.
- 1-2 years of experience in banking and finance law.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations, financial transactions, and legal documentation.
- Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering accurate and high-quality work.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proactive and adaptable to a fast-paced legal practice.
