Investment Associate
An exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to build a career in venture capital with a specialist investment business.
The business is open to candidates who are relatively early in their career and would particularly welcome applications from those with a background in accounting, financial services, audit, banking, professional services or a similar analytical environment.
Direct VC experience is not essential a genuine interest in venture capital, commercial curiosity and a willingness to learn are key.
The Role:
Working within a small, collaborative investment team, the Investment Associate will gain broad exposure to:
- Investment research and analysis
- Due diligence on prospective investments
- Fund management and investor support
- Preparation of investment and investor documentation
- Regulatory and compliance processes
- Market and company research
- Portfolio and investor reporting
The role offers genuine exposure to live investments, early-stage businesses and senior investment professionals, with plenty of scope to develop and take on responsibility.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have around one year of relevant professional experience, although the business is flexible on background and experience for the right person.
They are looking for someone who:
