Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the private client department, providing expert advice on matters including wills, trusts, estates, probate, and tax planning.

• Oversee the growth and development of the department, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.

• Manage a team of solicitors, paralegals, and support staff, providing mentorship, training, and guidance.

• Develop and implement strategies to expand the firm’s private client services and grow the department.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering expert, strategic advice tailored to individual client needs.

• Handle high-net-worth cases, ensuring discretion and professionalism at all times.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and changes in the private client sector.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 7 years’ post-qualification experience in private client law, ideally with some leadership experience.

• Demonstrated expertise in wills, probate, trusts, and estate planning, with the ability to handle complex, high-value matters.

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.

• A proactive approach, with the ability to contribute to business development and the continued growth of the firm.
