Head of Finance (tech)
Artemis Human Capital is working exclusively with an innovative and ambitious technology business to appoint a Head of Finance. This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of the finance function in a company scaling rapidly, driving financial strategy and shaping the future of a high-growth organisation.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Head of Finance will be instrumental in building a robust financial framework to support the company’s expansion. You will lead the finance team, ensuring accurate and insightful financial reporting while delivering strategic value across the business.

The Role:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive profitability and sustainable growth
- Oversee financial planning, including long-term forecasts and annual budgets
- Lead cost control initiatives to enhance efficiency and profitability
- Oversee the preparation of management accounts and financial reporting
- Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to support senior management decisions
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business success
- Act as a strategic business partner across multiple departments
- Work closely with the Managing Director on strategy, business planning, new revenue streams, and investment opportunities
- Lead, develop, and grow the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
The Person:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant
- Proven experience in a senior financial management role
- Background in a global, multi-entity business is highly desirable
- Strong commercial and analytical skills, with a strategic mindset
- Exceptional communicator with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders
- A collaborative team player who can build strong relationships at all levels of the business
