Financial Reporting Manager
Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be working exclusively with a scaling Irish business based in Monaghan to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager to undertake a broad role to include group reporting, external financial statements, and board-level insights across a growing, multi-entity business.
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the Financial Reporting Manger will be accountable for the development and management of the Finance function.
The Role:
- Management and supervision of the month end close processes
- In depth analysis and reporting of KPI’s vs forecast.
- Development of automated reporting using Power BI and Power Query
- Developing and continually improving financial processes and systems development.
- Consolidate data from finance and operational systems to ensure consistent reporting
- Management and oversight of the finance team.
- Preparation of financial statements
- Supporting the external audit process
- Implementing and upholding internal controls and governance
The Person:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- At least 5 years’ experience in audit, preferably in a Big 4 firm.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance professionals..
- Ability to work to deadlines within a fast paced and challenging environment.
- Strong commercial acumen
