Financial Controller
Artemis Human Capital are pleased to be partnering with a successful and well-established business to appoint a Financial Controller into a pivotal, hands-on leadership role. This position will play a key part in supporting day-to-day operations while also contributing to the company’s continued growth and strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare, review, and deliver management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and cashflow reporting on a hands-on basis.
- Maintain strong financial controls, ensuring balance sheet integrity and high-quality reconciliations.
- Provide meaningful commercial insight into project performance, margins, and working capital management.
- Lead, mentor, and support the finance team while remaining actively involved in core financial processes.
The Person
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with strong post-qualification experience.
- Comfortable operating in a hands-on, operational finance role within a dynamic and fast-moving business.
- Commercially focused with the confidence to challenge and influence non-finance stakeholders.
- Highly organised, detail-driven, and able to manage competing priorities in a deadline-led environment.
