Financial Controller
Artemis Human Capital are working with a well-established, high-growth business in the Newry area to appoint a Financial Controller into a key leadership role. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position offers full ownership of the finance function, with a strong focus on commercial performance, profitability, and operational efficiency. This opportunity will suit an ambitious, commercially driven finance professional who enjoys operating in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a tangible impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead weekly and monthly management accounts across UK & ROI entities
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Oversee costing, margin analysis, and profitability reporting
- Deliver clear P&L ownership and performance insight
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance
- Partner with operational teams to drive efficiencies and performance
The Person
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role
- Strong experience in costing, margins, and P&L ownership
- Commercially focused with strong analytical capability
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
