Financial Controller
Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be working exclusively to appoint a Financial Controller, reporting directly to the CFO.
This is a senior finance leadership role within a growing group, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the finance function during a period of change and development.
The Role
The Financial Controller will lead the day-to-day finance function. The role will also involve mentoring and developing an established finance team and working closely with senior stakeholders to support the business through its next phase.
Key responsibilities:
- Ownership of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Leading the budgeting and forecasting process
- Maintaining strong financial controls and balance sheet integrity
- Supporting statutory accounts preparation and audit
- Acting as a key finance stakeholder during systems and process change
- Mentoring and developing the finance team
- Partnering closely with the CFO and senior leadership
The Person
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Proven experience at Financial Controller or senior finance level
- Strong background in management reporting, budgeting and financial control
- Experience leading and developing finance teams
- Comfortable operating in a PE-backed or change-driven environment
