Financial Controller
Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be working with a successful, business to appoint a Financial Controller into a key, hands-on role supporting day-to-day operations and future growth.
This position will suit a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys being close to the detail and acting as a trusted partner to senior leadership in a fast-paced, project-led environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the full month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare and review management accounts, budgets, forecasts and cashflow on a hands-on basis.
- Maintain strong financial controls, balance sheet integrity and robust reconciliations.
- Provide commercial insight on project performance, margins and working capital.
- Manage and support the finance team while remaining actively involved in core finance processes.
The Person
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with solid post-qualification experience.
- Comfortable in a hands-on, operational finance role within a fast-moving business.
- Strong commercial awareness and the confidence to engage with non-finance stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, proactive and able to prioritise in a deadline-driven environment.
