Financial Controller
A long-established and reputable construction and manufacturing company with operations spanning the UK and Ireland is seeking a Financial Controller to strengthen its finance leadership team.
About the Role:
Working directly with the Finance Director and collaborating across multiple departments, this role offers a balance of hands-on financial management and commercial business partnering. You will be instrumental in shaping financial strategy, improving processes, and supporting growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts across all entities and divisions
- Delivery of weekly/monthly reports
- Driving costing and margin improvement initiatives
- Partnering with Operations and Sales on commercial decision-making
- Oversight of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Managing working capital, including debtor control and inventory valuation
- Overseeing month-end and year-end processes, liaising with auditors
About You
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
- 5+ years’ experience in a senior finance role
- Strong commercial acumen with a hands-on approach
- Proven leadership skills with a passion for developing people and processes
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across functions
