Artemis Human Capital is proud to be partnering with one of our key clients to recruit a Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing Finance Business Partnering team here in Belfast.
This role is a unique opportunity for a confident and outgoing part qualified / recently qualified Accountant who wants to elevate their career, to join a dynamic team, working closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver exceptional solutions and results.
About the Role:
In this high-visibility role, you will be responsible for supporting teams from across the organisation, building and nurturing strong relationships with non-finance stakeholders, and communicating effectively to drive business performance. You will play a key role in providing financial insights, partnering with various departments, and supporting ad hoc and project-based work, alongside traditional reporting tasks. Unlike typical accounting roles, this position will not follow a standard month-end accounting cycle. Instead, you’ll have the opportunity to focus on project-based work that adds real value to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner to key stakeholders across the business, providing insights and financial guidance to support decision-making.
- Deliver timely and accurate financial analysis, supporting month-end processes, rolling forecasts and budgets.
- Drive ad hoc projects and support new initiatives, working closely with non-finance teams to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Build strong relationships with teams across the organisation, promoting finance as a key partner in achieving business objectives.
- Play an instrumental role in influencing, advising, and challenging business partners to help deliver successful outcomes.
About You:
This role is ideal for an up-and-coming finance professional looking to further develop their career with a clear path for progression in a high-performing, collaborative environment. Qualifications and Experience:
- Part-qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / CAI) with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a Financial Analyst / Finance Business Partner role.
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to present data in a clear, insightful way to non-finance stakeholders.
- A natural relationship builder who enjoys working across teams and departments.
- A proactive, adaptable attitude, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence decision-making across various business functions.
- Driven by a desire to continuously improve and contribute to the success of the wider business.
