Finance Manager (exclusive)
Artemis Human Capital is working exclusively with a well-established, independently owned group of companies based in Belfast as they seek to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to join their multi-functional finance team. The group operates across a diverse range of sectors, including Managed IT services, commercial property development, and other investment projects, providing high-quality products and services to businesses across Northern Ireland.
The Finance Manager will play a key role in supporting the Senior Management Team and Owners, overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across the group. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned accountant to broaden their commercial experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across the group.
- Prepare month-end reporting and commercial management information.
- Oversee journal entries, Accounts Payable/Receivable, VAT returns, and Intrastat submissions.
- Drive the annual budgeting process, conduct month-end budget analysis, and report variances to SMT.
- Prepare monthly and ad-hoc board reports, including KPI and variance analysis.
- Strengthen internal controls, streamline processes, and identify opportunities for automation.
- Engage with auditors and implement recommendations for improvement.
- Utilise SAGE and Excel to deliver accurate and insightful financial analysis.
Candidate Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant or qualified by experience
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in a commercial finance function.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; self-motivated and collaborative.
