Artemis Human Capital is working with a high-growth, profitable business that has rapidly expanded its market share over the last 2 years. As they continue to scale, they are looking to strengthen their internal capabilities by bringing the finance function in-house, laying a robust foundation for future growth.
This is a newly created role designed for a strategic, hands-on Finance Director to lead their financial operations. The main objective is to bring the finance function in-house, ensuring financial oversight, driving efficiencies, and providing strategic insights to support the continued growth and profitability of the business.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including the identification of trends and suggested methods of improving performance
- Develop KPIs to include analysis of revenue and margin by product, geography and sector
- Reviewing systems and processes with a view to identifying improvements
- Oversee the implementation and integration of an ERP system
- Ensure statutory compliance and lead year end accounts process
- Overseeing tax compliance including payroll, and VAT
- Look at opportunities with Invest NI
- Business partnering with commercial and operational leads to provide information to drive performance
- Cash flow and working capital management
The Person
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Experience of working within a scaling business
- Highly driven and commercial
- Ability to liaise and negotiate with external stakeholders
