Artemis Human Capital are working with a family run, privately owned business in the retail sector who are seeking a detail-oriented Credit Controller to manage and oversee the company’s credit policies, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts while maintaining positive customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage debtor accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and letters.
- Assess and approve new credit applications based on company policies.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and credit transactions.
- Work closely with internal teams to manage credit risk.
- Prepare reports on aged debt.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
