Artemis Human Capital are working with a family run, privately owned business in the retail sector who are seeking a detail-oriented Credit Controller to manage and oversee the company’s credit policies, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts while maintaining positive customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage debtor accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and letters.
  • Assess and approve new credit applications based on company policies.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and credit transactions.
  • Work closely with internal teams to manage credit risk.
  • Prepare reports on aged debt.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
