Credit Control Manager
We are working with a well-established and growing organisation within the construction and manufacturing sector that is now seeking an experienced Credit Control Manager to lead its credit function as part of a strong and expanding finance team.
Reporting directly to senior finance leadership, you will oversee a team of 4–5 credit controllers, ensuring effective management of credit risk and timely collections across the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the credit control team, fostering a positive, performance-focused culture
- Oversee debtor management and ensure timely collections
- Monitor credit limits and risk exposure
- Implement and enhance credit control policies, procedures, and reporting
- Work closely with sales and finance teams to improve processes and reduce days sales outstanding
- Resolve escalated customer queries professionally and efficiently
- Produce regular management information on credit performance
Who We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a credit control or credit management role, ideally with supervisory experience
- Background in a similar sector (e.g. construction, manufacturing, engineering, or fast-paced commercial environment)
- 3rd level qualification in finance, accounting, business, or a related discipline ideally
