Corporate Solicitor (NQ – 4 Years PQE)

A highly regarded commercial law firm in Belfast is seeking to appoint a talented Corporate Solicitor to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious lawyer, whether newly qualified or with up to four years’ post-qualification experience, to work on high-quality, cross-border corporate transactions with a firm known for its pragmatic, commercial approach.

The Opportunity

You’ll be part of a busy corporate practice advising a broad client base, from entrepreneurial start-ups and family-owned businesses to large corporate and institutional clients. The work will be fast-paced and varied, including:

• Mergers, acquisitions and disposals

• Private equity and venture capital transactions

• Corporate reorganisations and joint ventures

• Shareholder and investment agreements

• General corporate advisory and governance work

This role offers excellent exposure to complex transactions across Northern Ireland, Great Britain and further afield, alongside senior lawyers who are recognised for their expertise and approachable, collaborative style.

About You

I am keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:

• Qualification as a solicitor in Northern Ireland (or England & Wales, with interest in dual qualification)

• Between NQ and 4 years’ PQE in corporate or commercial law

• Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills

• A genuine interest in business and understanding clients’ commercial objectives

• A proactive, team-oriented approach and desire to grow within a progressive, modern firm
