A leading organisation within the energy and technology space is seeking a Commercial Lawyer to join its high-performing in-house legal team.

This is a standout opportunity to work on complex, high-value commercial matters while gaining exposure to cutting-edge legal issues across technology, AI, and the rapidly evolving energy sector.

The Role:
This position offers a unique blend of commercial contracts and sector-specific advisory work, including:

• Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements (including SaaS, software licensing, confidentiality agreements, and supply terms)

• Advising on intellectual property and emerging technology matters, including AI and cybersecurity regulation

• Supporting major projects across the energy sector, including renewables, infrastructure, and sustainability initiatives

• Working closely with cross-functional teams on regulatory and commercial issues

You will gain exposure to high-profile transactions and play a key role in shaping commercially significant projects within a future-focused industry.

About You:

• 5+ years’ PQE with experience in commercial contracts, ideally with exposure to IT/IP or regulated sectors

• Strong drafting and negotiation skills

• Commercially minded with a proactive and collaborative approach

• Interest in technology and/or the energy sector

• Ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly to non-legal stakeholders
