Commercial Finance Manager

We are working with a dynamic and growing organisation to appoint a Commercial Finance Manager. This is a high-impact role, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders to drive financial performance, support strategic decision-making, and embed a strong commercial mindset across the business.

Reporting to the CFO, you will act as a key business partner while overseeing a small team and providing financial insight, analysis, and challenge to support growth and operational excellence.

You will play a central role in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, while partnering with key departments to enhance decision-making and drive profitability. Alongside this, you will leverage data and reporting tools to deliver clear, actionable insights across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes
• Provide insightful analysis on business performance, including variance analysis and KPIs
• Partner with senior stakeholders across operations, sales, and marketing to drive commercial outcomes
• Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions
• Deliver high-quality reporting and insights to senior leadership
• Support the development of dashboards and performance metrics
• Translate data into meaningful insights for both financial and non-financial audiences
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and efficiency
• Support systems and reporting enhancements (e.g. ERP and BI tools)

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong background in FP&A or commercial finance
• Proven experience in business partnering and influencing stakeholders
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
• Commercially focused with a proactive, solutions-driven approach
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly
