Commercial Accountant

Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be working exclusively with a leading employer to appoint a Commercial Accountant to their finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded accountant to join a dynamic business, partnering with operational and commercial teams to deliver meaningful financial insight, cost analysis, and support key business decisions.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting pricing models, customer tenders, and commercial decision-making.
• Preparing costings for new products, product launches, and business opportunities.
• Maintaining customer trading accounts and pricing models.
• Analysing costs, margins, and business performance to identify improvement opportunities.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.
• Producing financial analysis and insights to support operational and commercial stakeholders.

The Person

• Experience in commercial finance, FP&A, cost accounting, or business partnering.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with advanced Excel capability.
• Experience working with ERP and financial reporting systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified/part-qualified, or currently studying towards qualification.
