Business Development Manager (Field based)

A growing renewable energy business is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support expansion across Ireland. The role focuses on driving new business across domestic and commercial heat pump solutions, within a broader clean energy portfolio.

This opportunity suits a motivated, commercially focused sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and enjoys building long-term customer relationships.

The Role

  • Identify, develop and close new business opportunities

  • Manage the full sales cycle across multiple renewable energy solutions

  • Build and grow a pipeline through proactive prospecting and field-based sales

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting

  • Represent the business at industry events and networking opportunities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery

The Person

  • 2–3+ years’ B2B sales experience, ideally in a growth or technology-led sector

  • Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused approach

  • Proven ability to work independently in a target-driven environment

  • Confident communicator with stakeholder management experience

  • Renewable energy experience advantageous but not essential

Package

  • Salary: £50,000–£55,000 (OTE £70k–£80k)
