Accounts Technician – Hybrid Working

We are currently working with a global organisation within the AV and technology sector who are seeking to appoint an Accounts Technician to join their Finance team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing international business that specialises in high-quality video collaboration and AV solutions. The successful candidate will play an integral role within the finance function, supporting financial reporting, reconciliations and day-to-day accounting processes while working closely with senior finance leadership.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role offers broad exposure across transactional finance, management accounts support and financial reporting within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting balance sheet and control account reconciliations for monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes
  • Processing sales and purchase invoices, payroll, expenses, bank receipts and payments
  • Preparing statutory and compliance reports including VAT, PAYE, pensions and annual returns
  • Posting journal entries and maintaining recurring journals and allocations
  • Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and financial reporting
  • Supporting year-end audit preparation
  • Working daily with Sage and internal finance systems while assisting with system improvements

Who We’re Looking For:

  • 4+ years’ experience in an accounts or finance role
  • Strong knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts, Sage Payroll and Excel
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and reporting
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • IATI qualification is desirable
  • Experience working with multi-currency accounts would be advantageous
