Accounts Assistant

Artemis Human Capital delighted to be exclusively partnering with a well-established, manufacturing business located in the Portadown area. This is a newly created position with a scaling business and an exciting time to join the team.

The role

  • Process purchase and sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain up-to-date cash records.
  • Support the finance team with month-end tasks, including journal entries.
  • Assist with tracking inventory costs and liaising with production on stock movements.
  • Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve invoice and payment queries.

Person Specification

  • Experience in a finance or accounts role, ideally within manufacturing.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Confident using accounting software and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • AAT qualified or currently studying towards an accounting qualification.
