Accounts Assistant

Artemis Human Capital is pleased to be working in partnership with our client, a leading professional services firm, to hire an Accounts Assistant.

This role is 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home. We are looking for candidates who are eager to develop their career in the processing of accounting records, preparing bank reconciliations and can work in a fast-paced environment in a client facing setting.

Typical responsibilities:

  • Processing accurate accounting records including cash book, purchase ledger, sales ledger and nominal ledger
  • Preparing bank reconciliations and arranging bank payments and transfers
  • Meeting all set deadlines provided with the consensus to work independently.

Requirements / Experience:

  • Good standard of education with minimum GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
  • Proven current experience in a similar Accounting role
  • Motivated to provide the highest quality service to clients
  • Self-motivated and organised. Can plan own time ensuring targets and deadlines are achieved
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and is confident in liaising with people at all levels
  • Proven attention to detail
