Accounts Technician | East Belfast | £28–32K

Artemis Human Capital is delighted to support a well‑established local accountancy firm as they look to welcome an Accounts Technician to their growing team based in East Belfast. This position is ideal for someone with solid experience in a practice setting who enjoys working closely with both colleagues and clients. The role has been newly introduced due to continued growth and will collaborate closely with the existing accounts and tax departments.

Role Summary

The successful candidate will work with a varied client base and will be involved in:

• Managing day‑to‑day bookkeeping for a range of local businesses
• Processing payroll accurately and on schedule
• Communicating with clients to resolve queries promptly
• Supporting the preparation of year‑end accounts

About You

Applicants should ideally bring:

• Previous experience within an accountancy practice
• Around 1–2 years in a similar accounts role
• Strong payroll knowledge (essential)
• IATI qualification (desirable but not required)
• A proactive mindset and a practical, solutions‑focused approach
