Accounts Assistant (Practice) – East Belfast | £28-32,000
I’m currently working with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice based in East Belfast, who are keen to appoint an Accounts Assistant to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive firm with an excellent culture, a strong and varied client portfolio, and genuine scope for progression and development.
The Role
This is a varied position offering exposure across a broad range of clients and responsibilities, including:
- Bookkeeping for a diverse portfolio of clients
- Processing weekly and monthly payroll
- Assisting with VAT returns
- Supporting with light accounts preparation
- Liaising with clients and building strong working relationships
The Person
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice is essential
- Strong bookkeeping and payroll experience
- Good working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive and positive approach to work
