Overview

A leading commercial law firm in Belfast is seeking a professional and highly organised Legal PA to provide dedicated support to two Senior Partners. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal support professional to join a fast-paced, high-performing environment where discretion, efficiency, and strong attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Support

  • Provide comprehensive PA support to two Senior Partners, including extensive diary management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating all internal and external appointments.

  • Manage inboxes, monitor correspondence, and ensure timely responses and follow-up actions.

  • Prepare, edit, and format legal documents, correspondence, briefs, and presentations to a high standard.

  • Organise travel, accommodation, and itineraries as required.

Document & File Management

  • Produce, amend, and proofread a variety of legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Ensure all documentation is filed correctly in accordance with firm procedures, including electronic file management and archiving.

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Coordinate meeting packs, agendas, and supporting materials for internal and client meetings.

  • Assist with business development activities, including preparation of pitch documents, client presentations, and event coordination.

  • Maintain confidentiality at all times and handle all tasks with professionalism and discretion.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience as a Legal PA or Legal Secretary, ideally within corporate, commercial, litigation, or similar practice areas.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • High level of proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and legal document management systems.

  • Proven ability to work proactively and independently while maintaining strong team collaboration.

  • Professionalism, discretion, and a client-focused approach.
