Management Accountant

An internationally recognised organisation with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects is seeking an ambitious Management Accountant to join their established finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Management Accountant will play a key role in producing accurate and timely financial information, supporting decision-making across the business, and ensuring the integrity of management reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, turnover, and contribution.
• Collate and analyse CVRs for financial performance.
• Manage WIP, stock control, and timely invoicing.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis processes.
• Review debtor, creditor balances, and statutory compliance.
• Prepare VAT returns and assist annual audits.
• Enhance systems, governance, controls, and financial reporting.

What we are looking for:

• Professionally qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA) or qualified by experience (5+ years).
• Strong background in management accounting and cost analysis.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; ERP implementation experience is desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to process improvement.
• Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to meet tight reporting deadlines.
