Financial Controller
Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be working with a growing organisation who are seeking a Financial Controller to join its senior leadership team. This is a hands-on and influential role, responsible for leading the finance function and ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely financial reporting across the group.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will oversee a small team and play a key role in driving improvements in financial processes, systems, and performance. This position is ideal for an experienced finance professional who enjoys variety, autonomy, and contributing to strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the day-to-day operations of the finance function.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and group-level reporting.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Oversee year-end audit and statutory accounts preparation.
- Monitor cash flow and support financial planning.
- Develop and improve internal controls and financial procedures.
- Provide financial insight to support business decisions.
The Person
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
- Strong post-qualification experience in a senior finance role.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team.
- Experience producing consolidated accounts and supporting audits.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Commercially aware, with sound financial judgment.
