The Role
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will:
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts and statutory reports
- Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations
- Lead interactions with external auditors and manage the audit process
- File VAT, Corporation Tax, and regulatory returns
- Support budgeting and forecasting, providing insights for strategic decisions
- Contribute to key projects, including acquisitions, system upgrades, and process improvements
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ambitious, commercially minded, and eager to develop within a leading organisation
