Financial Controller – Manufacturing
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and dedicated Financial Controller to join a global manufacturing business, supporting a high-performing team at a key site in Northern Ireland. As Financial Controller, you will take full financial responsibility for a multi-million-pound manufacturing operation, leading a small finance team and acting as a trusted advisor to the General Manager. You’ll oversee financial reporting, planning, compliance, and play a pivotal role in business strategy, commercial decision-making, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of finance professionals.
- Deliver monthly reporting, forecasts, and strategic insight.
- Ensure financial control in line with GAAP and audit requirements.
- Oversee working capital management, including inventory and receivables.
- Drive business improvement with accurate, actionable financial information.
- Own budgeting, costing, and cycle count processes.
- Support implementation of new systems and Capex strategy.
- Partner with commercial teams on pricing and margins.
What You’ll Bring:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Strong background in financial leadership
- Excellent knowledge of GAAP, financial systems, and internal controls.
- Skilled communicator, confident working with senior leadership.
- Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency.
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on, detail-focused approach.
