Finance Manager – 4 day week

A well-established and progressive manufacturing business in Mid-Antrim is seeking a Finance Manager to take the lead on all financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who thrives in a hands-on, commercial environment and is ready to take on a key leadership role in a growing company committed to continuous investment and improvement.

In this pivotal position, you’ll oversee all day-to-day finance activities, manage a small team, and play a strategic role in business planning and financial decision-making. From accurate monthly reporting to improving systems and processes, you’ll help shape the financial health and future direction of the organisation.

What You’ll Receive

• £50,000 – £55,000 salary depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts with insightful commentary

• Create and deliver financial and operational reports using Excel

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting cycle, including variance analysis

• Manage cash flow, working capital, and debtor controls

• Oversee costing, inventory valuation, and margin analysis

• Provide financial insights to support cross-functional teams

• Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team

• Ensure statutory compliance and liaise with external accountants

What We’re Looking For

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

• At least 2 years’ experience in a senior finance role (manufacturing experience desirable)

• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial data analysis

• A proven team leader with excellent communication skills

• Commercially minded, detail-oriented, and hands-on in your approach
