Senior Tax Manager – Industry

Are you a strategic tax professional ready to step into a global industry firm and take the lead on complex and group-wide matters? We’re working with a global organisation that is looking for a Senior Tax Manager to join its high performing and experienced team, to work closely with the Head of International Tax on both compliance and advisory based projects.

This is a very rare opportunity in the Belfast market, as roles at this level within industry do not come up very often.

Responsibilities:

• Acting as a trusted advisor to global CFOs and partners on international tax strategy and compliance

• Overseeing and reviewing tax return submissions, calculations, and disclosures

• Advising on cross-border withholding tax, equalisation policies, and partner mobility

• Leading advisory projects including M&A support, reorganisations, and international business travel risks

• Collaborating on year-end processes, reserve calculations, and tax reporting

• Managing and mentoring junior team members

• Presenting tax updates and risk assessments to senior stakeholders

The person:

• ACA or equivalent accounting qualification (essential)

• Strong tax background, with a preference for CTA qualified candidates

• Proven experience at Senior Manager level or above in personal/ corporate/ international tax

• Broad understanding of international tax issues, ideally within a partnership or professional services context

• Excellent relationship management skills — you’ll interact with senior finance leaders and external advisors globally
