As they launch a brand-new division and brand new office in Newtownabbey, this is a rare opportunity to help shape the people function from the ground up.

This is a high-impact role with the support of a  HR Officer, perfect for a proactive, strategic HR professional ready to take ownership of culture, policy, people strategy, and organisational development in a scaling business.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will:

• Lead the HR, OD, and Payroll function (payroll is outsourced—you’ll oversee, not process).
• Shape a values-led culture and performance-focused environment.
• Drive strategic initiatives across engagement, succession planning, talent, and L&D.
• Advise senior leaders, using data and insights to inform decision-making.
• Develop and continuously improve policies, processes, and people experience.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of post-grad HR experience with a strong generalist background.
• Proven experience in a leadership/management HR role.
• Excellent knowledge of NI/UK employment law.
• Strategic mindset with strong influencing and communication skills.
• CIPD qualified (or working towards).
• Bonus if you’ve built HR functions in scaling businesses or worked in regulated industries.
