Management Accountant
Artemis human Capital has partnered with a thriving, private equity-backed business with a profitable and secure client base. Due to sustained growth and continued investment, they’re expanding their finance function and have created a brand-new opportunity for a Management Accountant to join their high-performing team.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a broad and commercial role with visibility across the business and significant scope for career progression as the business scales.
The Role:
- Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary
- Assist with statutory accounts preparation, year-end audits, and compliance reporting
- Prepare monthly board packs including KPIs, trend analysis, and performance summaries for senior stakeholders and investors
- Support the annual budgeting process and regular reforecasts across the group
- Maintain and enhance cashflow models to support strategic decision-making
- Get involved in large-scale, high-impact projects such as systems implementations, M&A integration, and process improvements
- Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders in operations, commercial and strategy teams to help drive financial performance
The Person:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Commercially astute
- Advanced Excel and experience with financial systems
- Proactive, hands-on and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Excellent communication skills with confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders
