Company Accountant

We are proud to be partnering with a successful, family-owned business currently experiencing an exciting growth phase and needing to add a Company Accountant to their small but experienced finance function.

Our client is looking for an ambitious Company Accountant who wants to progress internally and adopts a hands-on and confident approach in managing all aspects of a finance function. This role will suit anyone with a strong industry background.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will take full ownership of the finance and accounting function, including:

• Leading all day-to-day accounting activities

• Producing accurate and timely cost reports

• Managing Accounts Payable

• Overseeing sales invoice processing, cash collection, and client liaison

• Running the payroll process

• Handling bank administration: reconciliations, payment processing, cash flow forecasting

• Performing financial accounting tasks

• Identifying and implementing process improvements

• Preparing statutory returns and reports

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Qualified accountant with industry experience

• Proficient in Sage accounting software

• Experience with CIS returns is desirable
