Litigation Solicitor (2+ years PQE)

Artemis Human Capital is working with a well-established legal practice in Belfast that is seeking to recruit a Litigation Solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE to join their busy and growing team.

This role offers a varied and engaging caseload focused on personal injury and medical negligence, with opportunities to build hands-on experience in both pre-litigation and litigated matters.

You’ll work closely with experienced solicitors, handling a mix of employer’s liability, public liability, RTA, and clinical negligence claims. The team supports clients through all stages of the claims process, including High Court proceedings, providing excellent exposure for those looking to deepen their litigation and advocacy skills.

It’s a strong platform for someone interested in progressing within a well-established firm with a steady flow of complex, high-value work.

The role will involve:

• Managing your own caseload of litigation files
• Drafting pleadings, instructions to counsel, and legal correspondence
• Attending court hearings and settlement discussions
• Advising clients from initial instruction through to resolution
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments where needed

Criteria:

• A qualified solicitor with 2 + years’ PQE and solid litigation experience
• Strong communication skills, with a pragmatic and client-focused approach
• Experience preparing cases for court and managing files independently
