A leading international law firm is seeking a Senior Associate or Partner to join its expanding Intellectual Property team in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IP lawyer to play a key role in a highly regarded practice, advising on complex contentious and non-contentious IP matters for a diverse client base, including multinational corporations, technology companies, and financial institutions.
The Role:

Advising on a broad range of IP matters, including patents, trademarks, copyright, and trade secrets.

Handling IP licensing, technology transfer agreements, and commercialisation strategies.

Leading on IP litigation, enforcement strategies, and brand protection for high-profile clients.

Advising on cross-border IP transactions, due diligence, and regulatory issues.

Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to the growth of the practice.
About You:

7+ years’ PQE gained at a top-tier UK or international firm.

Strong expertise in contentious and/or non-contentious IP matters, with experience in key industries such as technology, life sciences, or media.

Proven ability to lead complex transactions and advise on high-value IP disputes.

Excellent client management skills with a commercial and strategic mindset.
