The Role:
Reporting directly to the firm’s Investments Director, you will gain hands-on exposure to a diverse range of companies, playing a key role in strategic decision-making and investment management. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of NI-based SMEs across a range of industries—building strong relationships, reviewing financials, and handling loan queries.
- Identifying follow-on investment opportunities by analysing financial projections and historical accounts.
- Supporting key reporting processes, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
- Engaging in business development activities to support the firm’s continued success.
Who We’re Looking For:
Our client is seeking a proactive and ambitious individual who is eager to progress their career in investments. The ideal candidate will have:
- ACA or ACCA qualification (newly qualified or up to 2 years’ post-qualified experience).
- Experience in audit or accounts within a practice background.
- Desirable: Exposure to due diligence or corporate finance.
- Alternative consideration: Candidates with relevant portfolio experience from a banking background.
- A full driver’s license is essential.
