As our client embark on this exciting journey, they are seeking a strategic and results-driven Group Finance Director to lead their financial transformation.

This role offers a unique opportunity to spearhead the group’s financial strategy, drive operational efficiencies, and lead critical projects—including ERP implementation—at a pivotal time of growth and change.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape and lead the Group’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives and supporting the company’s ambitious international expansion and growth trajectory.
• Design and implement forward-looking financial frameworks that enable scalable growth, drive long-term profitability, and support business transformation initiatives.
• Critically assess and optimise financial systems, processes, and controls, leveraging technology and ERP solutions to enhance operational efficiency and future-proof the finance function.
• Oversee strategic financial reporting, delivering insightful management accounts, forecasts, and performance dashboards to support executive decision-making.
• Lead financial planning and predictive analysis to proactively identify opportunities for growth, operational improvement, and risk mitigation
• Identify and implement enterprise-wide efficiency initiatives, targeting cost optimisation and margin improvement to enhance shareholder value
• Deliver high-level financial insights to the Board and Senior Leadership Team, providing clear, actionable recommendations that shape strategic decision-making and business growth

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
• Have proven experience as a Finance Director or Chief Financial Officer role, with a solid track record of driving financial strategies and operational improvements.
• Worked in scaling businesses with turnover in excess of 50 million
• Possess strong experience working closely with senior leadership teams and reporting to company directors.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of financial management principles and best practices.
• Be proficient with financial software and reporting tools, with a track record of leading ERP or system transformation projects.
• Have experience managing financial planning, forecasting, and reporting across multiple geographies and currencies.
