Financial Controller
The hiring firm are a global entity headquartered in Omagh and focus on commercial machinery sales. They are looking to onboard a new Financial Controller to lead their 12 strong finance function while working closely with and reporting to the MD.
This will be a mixture of a commercial and hands-on finance role for a firm with bases set all across the globe.
This is a permanent opportunity based close to Omagh.

The Role:
- Preparation of management and stat accounts
- Consolidated accounts preparation
- Liaising with auditors and 3rd party stakeholder such as banks, lenders, insurers and suppliers
- Working closely with the MD on business strategy and decisions
- Preparing financial forecasts and budgets
- Analysing and providing commentary on the performance of commercial contracts
- Board presentations
- Conducting financial analysis to help drive performance and report to board level
- Overseeing FX
The Person:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders
- Experience managing a team
- Experience with multi-currency/ FX is desirable
- Experience with Sage
